The National Association against Corruption, Abuse, and for Human Rights

A.N.I.C.A.D.O. is fighting for defending the rights and democratic laws of all citizens as statutory by Constitution and regularized by internal laws and international conventions recognized by Romanian Government: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights; European Convention on Human Rights; Helsinki Final act; Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action and other international conventions regarding civil, economical, political and social rights.

A.N.I.C.A.D.O. is supporting the Government in popularize the laws and in fight against corruption and abuse, regarding the implementation of laws and observance of citizen rights.

GOALS:

Ø Millitate in favor of human rights and fundamental freedoms;

Ø Promote gender equality, self-respect and respect toward others;

Ø Promote on different levels: plans, initiatives, actions and practical endeavors in order to encourage and increase fighting against corruption, abuse and defending human rights;

Ø Develops a continuous campaign in preventing and combat illegal substances traffic and usage by supporting and assist every institution responsible by law to stop this phenomenon;

Ø Actively involved in citizen awareness campaigns regarding European integration and European citizenship;

Ø Develops social care projects regarding under-privileged class;

Ø Identifies any behavior or criteria which can create circumstances leading to intimidation, hostile, infamous or offensive environment;

Ø Fights against any kind of harassment directed towards A.N.I.C.A.D.O.’s members or any other person who fights corruption, abuse, discrimination and human rights infringement;

Ø Sanctions any type of adverse behavior meant as a reaction to a complaint or to a court proceeding, regarding equality and non-discrimination principle violation;

Ø Identifies ways and methods to combat risk factors for youngsters;

Ø Organizes, studies and supports legislative initiatives in order to improve the law frame, according to A.N.I.C.A.D.O.’s specific activities and promoting new laws.
